Stan Lee's first novel for adults to be released in September

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt have announced they will be posthumously releasing Stan Lee's first novel for adult readers in September 2019.

Titled Stan Lee's Alliances: A Trick of Light, the novel is Lee's first for adults, and his first work featuring the brand new Alliances universe.

The publisher describes the book as, "a superhero origin story about Cameron, a gifted young man struggling with newfound fame after a freak accident gives him the ability to manipulate technology with his mind, and Nia, a hacker and coding genius with a mysterious past,”

In the book's introduction, Lee teases a story as epic as his other much-beloved Marval creations:

“Our yarn is filled with tantalizing technologies that will make you hunger for tomorrow, while our characters strive to find the answers today. They’ll ask the questions we all have about love, friendship, acceptance, and the search for a higher purpose.”

An audiobook version, narrated by Yara Shahidi of the TV show Grown-ish, is available now via Audible.
