The Ned Kelly Awards 2021 winners announced

The Australian Crime Writers Association (ACWA) have announced the 2021 winners of the Ned Kelly Awards.

The Awards were first established in 1996 and recognises the best literary talents for crime fiction and true crime writing.

The awards are Australia’s oldest running for the crime genre and this year marks the 26th anniversary. The ACWA received 149 entries this year, nearly double the entries of 2020. This was ultimately shortlisted to 22 books across the four award categories.

ACWA chair Robert Goodman recognised the significance of the awards in ‘showcasing both emerging and established Australian crime writing talent.’
