Help Books Kinokuniya craft 2000 origami dinosaurs to beat a world record!

Help Books Kinokuniya craft 2000 origami dinosaurs to beat a world record!

This June, Sydney-based store Books Kinokuniya will attempt to craft over 2,098 origami dinosaurs. If successful, the store, alongside Tuttle Publishing and New South Books, will donate $1,000 to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

The origami dinosaurs will be made during Kinokuniya's craft month, using Michael G. LaFosse's 'Apatosaurus' design. Every origami dinosaur will be displayed at the in-store gallery, which will also house an origami folding table where visitors are welcome to contribute their own dinosaur. Everyone who contributes a dinosaur will be credited, and have their name listed on Books Kinokuniya's website.

Submissions close at 6pm on Sunday June 30th, and the hanging of the origami dinosaurs will be completed on the 2nd of July, with the final count taking place on the 3rd of July.
