The History of Mischief by Rebecca Higgie

This book made me feel a whole range of emotions. First, I was intrigued by the finding of The History of Mischief under the floorboards, then sorrowful as I experienced loss. Then shock at the plot twists which Higgie has so cleverly woven throughout the story. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is unlike any other book I have ever read. It’s full of plot twists, magic and shows the lengths a person will go to for someone they love. It captured my imagination.
