Lionhearts by Nathan Makaryk

In attempting to flesh out the numerous characters I found the story became quite convoluted. Some famous characters behaved completely out of context – readers expect some consistency. But the setting is well done and there is a castle siege scene which demonstrates the author has taken time to study medieval warfare and techniques.
